About Nancy

Nancy immigrated from Taiwan and grew up in Washington state and New Jersey, the eldest of three children. She first landed in Boston for college, then moved to Los Angeles for medical school and business school, New York City for emergency medicine residency, and returned back to the Boston area with her husband, Joseph, in 2010. After having their first child, she co-founded a Mandarin immersion Montessori school with her mother, which she continues to direct. She enjoys traveling (and pre-travel planning), and generally juggling too many projects, but in this next season, is hoping to slow down and rekindle old interests like painting, and devoting unrushed time to friendships and sisterhood.
